During my recent stay at Hotel Byron Light in Riccione, I faced a mixed bag that even an environmental scientist like me can appreciate. While the location is superb, allowing easy access to the local shops and bars, the hotel itself is quite outdated, leaving much to be desired in terms of cleanliness and facilities. We were graciously checked in by a lovely brunette staff member, whose professionalism was a saving grace amid the chaos caused by the night-shift manager, who was more interested in socializing loudly than maintaining a tranquil environment. The breakfast was decent, offering a range of sweet and savory options, yet the noise level was jarring to say the least-think of a bustling café at 7:30 AM, not quite the way to start a day of exploring. While the outdoor garden looks like a charming spot for relaxation, the overall experience left me wishing for more attention to management and a thorough renovation. Although my travel buddy and I enjoyed a few moments of carefree fun in nearby beach areas, I doubt I'll be returning unless I see some significant changes.
